The Pulse app and rest api documentation are not clear and without examples.

Can someone explain how to use the Generic API Data Source in the Pulse app ?

when inserting an "URL endpoint", should it be a full path including the filters or with? (e.g. /qvm/saved_searches)

What are the "Results mapping" and "Use title from the result setOn

Title mapping" ? Example on how to use them ?

It explains about the results mapping as well. See point#6 on the above link.

Use title from the result set to On - This is optional and the explanation is given on point#7.

As far as the URL endpoint is concerned, you need to enter in the following format:

/api/config/deployment/hosts

Then try Run Query button see the output.
