    Greeting,

I am new to this IBM ODM. I have been following the tutorial on Creating a decision service in Rule Designer.
The link for the tutorial is:

    https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SS7J8H/com.ibm.odm.cloud.tutorials/tut_cloud_ds_topics/odm_cloud_dservice_tut.html

Everything works just fine until Task 6: Publishing to Decision Center.
When I want to connect to the IBM ODM Decision Center, there is an error popped out:

An exception has occurred during the import operation:

ilog.rules.teamserver.model.IlrKnownUUIDException: Cannot insert element, the UUID is already known with type = my decision service_azim/minimum income_azim/BRLRule and UUID = f5ad9c90-3892-433d-88ad-12de47e9d6ae, ilog.rules.teamserver.model.IlrKnownUUIDException: Cannot insert element, the UUID is already known with type = my decision service_azim/minimum income_azim/BRLRule and UUID = f5ad9c90-3892-433d-88ad-12de47e9d6ae

The same error also occurred when I try to import the decision service into the IBM ODM Decision Center
I appreciate if someone could explain me on why this happened and how to solve it.

Thank you and have a nice day.

    Hi Azim,

can you make sure there is not the same decision service already in Decision Center?
Can you also try with a very basic new project ?

    Thank you,

    Antony

    Hello Azim,

It looks like you are trying to publish a Decision Project that has elements with the same UUID as elements already in your Decision Center database.
You should be able to fix that problem by right-click the Decision Service Project in Rule Designer and running the command "refactor > update UUIDS". If the Decision Service project has dependent projects, please running that command on them as well.

    Thanks, Frederic
