We had already exported and the MUN was what we were expecting. This was all working fine in 11.0, now not working in 11.1.7 FP8. Clearly a bug in FP8.
Thank you so much for the workaround. Very muchly appreciated!

If a static value and query value are identical then I would only expect it to appear once in the prompt.
As you have two entries, it would imply that in your prompt the static and query MUNs are not identical. Which would also align with the original issue that you reported.
I would export your prompt query to csv and check the MUN is exactly what you are expecting - including spaces and the like.

@Marc Reed Yes, the MUN does appear twice in the prompt list. However it also makes the default work, so all is good. No idea why though? Any thoughts? Many thanks for the help.

Well if it is a bug then we'll need to find a workaround.
Just out of interest, what happens if you add the MUN that is the default selection as a static value to the prompt? Does the MUN appear twice when the prompt runs or just once?

Hi @Marc Reed
Yes, it is a selectable value in the drop down list, along with everything else in the query.

Can you confirm the Default Selection MUN is still returned by the qVersion query?

The default prompt value was working in version 11.0 but not in version 11.1.7 FP8.
Reporting is against a TM1 cube. The default value entry is set up as a MUN
[Somecube].[Version].[Version].[Version]->:[TMR].[Version].[Version].[Current Versions^Actual Mths 2024]

When the prompt page appears the default value does not show whereas it did in the prior version

Various things have been tried, changing from a MUN to an alias, putting an incorrect value in to see if it is seeing the default, it is and it errors when incorrect. Strangely enough the first prompt on the page, Week, also has a default value and it works, however that is a value of 01 and not a MUN.
We fully understand that 11.1.7 FP8 went out of support a few months ago, but we are unable to upgrade at this time. We tried logging a ticket with IBM Support asking if this was a known FP8 issue (or if an IF was available), but the ticket was shut down immediately.
If anyone in the Community can shed some advice on anything to try, that would be greatly appreciated.
