  • 1.  Problem with z/OSMF ServerPac Portable Software Instance - error #2

    Since I haven't been able to get a portable software instance added by downloading directly from ShopZ I tried downloading to my workstation and then adding the portable software instance from there. After all of the files are uploaded successfully to the host I'm getting message IZUD277E with this text:

    An error was found in file "/---------------/HCV2R5/IZUD00DF.json". Error: "The file contains data that is not supported by the current level of z/OSMF.  The version = 8."

    This first line of IZUD00DF.json is:

     

    {"izud.pswi.descriptor":{"version":"8",

     

    The driving system is at V2R5. Not sure how current and up to date it is on fixes.

    Any suggestions?

    In order to Add the ServerPac portable software instance, you need one of the following PTFs applied:

    z/OS V2R3 HSMA234 = UI79666
    z/OS V2R4 HSMA244 = UI79664
    z/OS V2R5 HSMA254 = UI79663
