Hi All

I'm following the RDz UT 8.01 Configuration guide to get CICS up and running. I've performed all the steps but I get an error when I reach this step:

Page 22:

"Log into CICS (L CICSTS41 from the VTAM screen) and enter these CEDA
commands:"

When I give "L CICSTS41" I get the following error on the system console:

IEE0191 L QUOTE(S) MISSING

And when I give "L CICSTS41" from the IBM PCS console, I get the following error:

" LCL701 UNABLE TO ESTABLISH SESSION - INIT SELF FAILED WITH SENSE 087D0001"
How can I get this fixed?

Try "L CICS" .

L CICS works, but I wonder why they're asking to logon to both cics41 and cics in the guide.

Now I'm able to use the CICS Management Interface in RDz.
