Problem Accessing Schemas and Content Assist

  • 1.  Problem Accessing Schemas and Content Assist

    Posted Fri March 08, 2024 10:58 PM

After installing ACS 1.1.9.4, connecting to machine running v7r3, most things work.

    Things that don't work are:

Schemas.  If i click on that link, I get an error message saying, "SQL State: 38501, Vendor code: -443, Message: [CPF3EC0] Add relational database directory entry failed.  Cause.....:See previously listed messages in the job log for the cause of the failure.  Recovery....:Correct any problems and try the request again.

I believe the above message is caused by the difference in the machine name and the name listed in the DNS and I'm not sure how I can resolve that.

Content Assist.  When accessing Content Assist from Run SQL Scripts, instead of getting a list of columns or fields within a select statement, I get a list starting with MAX, MIN...

I have reviewed the configuration for the connection, I have the latest version of Java installed.

Would it be better if I installed IBMOpenJ9?

    Thank you.
