    A new PowerVC will be launched in the next month, but no news about its compatibility with Policy-Based HA (PBHA).

    All the IBM Flashsystems were migrated from Hyperswap to PBHA, and the PowerVC continues to not support it.

    • Enhancements to Virtual Persistent Memory (vPMEM) support
    • Affinity Hard Enforce Rules: Options to fail or warn if low affinity score at LPAR activation
    • Affinity hints
    • PowerVC Appliance: Introducing a new PowerVC deployment model where PowerVC and the underlying OS are bundled together into a single image. Install PowerVC directly onto your PowerVM LPAR (no need to bring your own Linux to host PowerVC).
      • Classic deploy model (bring your own Linux) continues to be an option with PowerVC 2.3.2

    Yep, PBHA support is not there yet, which is crazy considering how long it's been available and that new Flashsystems won't support MM/GM.

    Hi Colleagues, This is also a feature we are waiting for as well as hoping PVC will support Peer Zoning also.

    Any idea is Peer Zoning is in the roadmap?

    Congratulations on launching the idea. I already voted there.

    IBM announced that the feature will be available in the new version of PowerVC 2.3.3, scheduled for release on June 12, 2026.

    Hi Rafael,

    Yes, I know of the announcement of the support in the upcoming 2.3.3 :).  I have mentioned it in the idea as part of the illustration of how much lag there is between FlashSystems introducing PBHA and PowerVC providing support for it.
