I think the last time I pointed something like this out, IBM dropped the "recommended replacement" from that particular model. Perhaps in the belief that no information is better than false information.

And, sadly enough, IBM is still recommending you replace the S924 with a different P9. :-(

Trying to find the IBM website which lists each server model and their recommended replacement model. Just awhile back it was pretty dated and were recommending replacing a P9 with P9+ or some such thing. I pestered them and they updated it. But I can't seem to find that site so far.

What is the source document for information on the S1112?
Is there any information on an S1114 or are we to target the S1122 now for the S914 or S1014 replacements?

Information on the S1112 is sketchy. It says GA in 2026.
Some preliminary details: 1-socket, 2U, half-wide, max 8 CPU cores, 512 GB memory, 4 PCIe HHHL slots (All Gen5), max 12.8 TB of internal storage, optional internal RDX Media Bay, rack and tower form factors.

Robert,
Yesterday's ITJungle had a comment about the S1112. It wasn't specific as to when.
"Next year, IBM will roll out the kicker to the "Bonnell" Power S1012, which will also be a half-width single-socket machine with relatively low core count aimed at entry customers and which will be called the Power S1112."

Will there be a Power 11 version of the following? If so, when?
