It appears that Policy based replication is available on the FS5045 with 32GB of memory. However, Policy based replication on the FS5300 requires 128GB of memory. Is this correct?

    Thank You,
    Leon Olson

    Hello Leon,

For the NVMe FlashSystem platforms the minimum memory is 64GB per node/canister.
In the case of the 5200/5300 there is no 64GB config possible/available.
You can only config 128G, which is causing the higher memory per nodecanister.

That is correct, Leon. It is worth noting that this is in part due to scaling differences (you get more capacity/objects on the 5300).  Have a look at the SVC and FlashSystem Configuration Limits pages for reference/comparison.  The rest is as Uwe said, the 5300 jump steps are different.

Is it possible to set up policy based replication between a FS5200/5300/5600 with 128 GB per node and a FS5045 with 32 GB per node?
