Play/Apple Store Availability for 7.6.4

    Any update as to when the apps will be available in the Google Play and Apple App Store?  I see the older applications, but not the new 7.6.4 ones.

    Apologies for the delay.   We are working thru some unexpected issues.

    Currently, Work Technician and Inspection are available on the Apple Play store.
    Please check back here for updates on the remaining apps and Google Play store availability.

    By default app is trying to connect to Anywhere test (I suppose) server - https://awtest.maximo.com:443/maximo - right?

    Is there any way to get user/pass credentials and be able to have a look how 7.6.4 works OOB?

    All 9 applications are on Google Play now,  Work Technician and Inspector for iOS currently.

    Hmmm this is a wide-open question. 
     
    So I'm making an assumption that you mean one is for Production (7.6.3) and the other for Dev (7.6.4).
     
    Answer: Yes.  They are different apps.  They point to different Maximo's

    What I mean is running the two seperate apps on Production

    7.6.3 will go via MobileFirst and 7.6.4 will connect directly to Maximo

    What I'm unsure if whether 7.6.3 would complain that 7.6.4 is installed on Maximo but shouldn't matter if MobileFirst is just making OSLC calls to Maximo

    The use case for this would be to trial a few users on 7.6.4 to highlight any improvements to existing users on 7.6.3

    No, running that configuration wouldn't be supported so even if it "worked", it wouldn't be something I would ever do, let alone in a production environment. The actual Maximo environment has to be patched for Anywhere 7.6.4 and you run the risk of your 7.6.3 users encountering issues due to code changes being made in the core product. Test it in a non-production environment and then move to PROD when you're ready but move everyone at once.

    Interesting. I guess since most of the changes were with the apps themselves the OSLC resources and classes weren't impacted significantly enough to break the apps? Would this be considered a supported scenario? It would be nice for our customers trying to test the waters.
