    Does anyone has encountered an issue where their Oracle DB for Maximo instance is not using bind variables and doing proper parsing ? In our case Parse to execute ration is very low. The DBA keep on saying that the query needs to optimized to use bind variable but that does not translate to anything for the application team. Any one has  previous experience  with resolving such issues ?

    Can you please elaborate a bit more ? How does this parameter affects DB performance ? Are they saying its causing high CPU utilization or something ?
