​We have received positive feedback regarding the Panel Discussion we piloted last week at the Optim User Group meeting, so we will keep this rolling for the next meeting on December 4.

With a forum this large and the fact it is virtual, we'd like to get an idea of some of the topics the Optim users would like to be covered. This is necessary since the panel will be allotted a set period of time at the meeting, so there will need to be a focused number of topics to discuss.

​First set of topic questions were submitted to me via Optim user Deborah Gresham:

1. Security around Windows-Authenticated accounts in regards to Optim connections to SQL Server. This would be for any concerns related to password changes, etc.

2. Identity Columns related to Optim copying data from one environment into another. Example provided pertains to a vendor app which uses Identity columns and has a lot of referential integrity based on them. She would like to keep the same ID values across DB environments since these values will most likely be changed if you select rows from Production and then copy them into a different DB environment in non-Production.
