  • 1.  PAFE 2.0.96 missing

    Hello,

    I can't find PAFE 2.0.96 on Fixcentral anymore. 

    Also the release notes are not available anymore: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-planning-analytics-v20-planning-analytics-microsoft-excel-release-96-now-available-fix-central

    The "What's new pages" also don't list 2.0.96 anymore: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-analytics/2.0.0?topic=excel-whats-new-in-planning-analytics-microsoft

    The corresponding 2.1.2 release ist still available.

    Any information on why this is or what has happened?

    I believe you should log a ticket with IBM Support. I didn't see any official message from IBM regarding any issue with this release.

    thanks. I already talked to support and this is the information I got so far:

    it's look like the PAX 96 was removed from download as there is a a know issue with this version

    IBM has become aware that a TI Process fails to execute in websheets when using the new Planning Analytics for Excel Action Button in IBM Planning Analytics for Spreadsheet Services. This issue impacts Planning Analytics for Excel version 2.0.96, when a publish is executed and the asset contains an action button.

    IBM recommends that all Planning Analytics users remove the IBM_PAfE_x64_2.0.96.12.xll and IBM_PAfE_x86_2.0.96.12.xll files from their system. Planning Analytics for Excel 2.0.97 will be released soon to address this issue, we suggest users continue using PAfE 2.0.95 until the release of 2.0.97

    As to why their was no information/notice about this, I am still waiting for a reply.

    I share this information from IBM Support (received last Friday):

    Planning Analytics for Excel 2.0.96 and 2.1.3 have been removed from IBM Fix Central

    IBM recommends to uninstall the 2.0.96 or 2.1.3 release and install 2.0.95 or 2.1.2 if Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel is used to publish Websheets.

    Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel 2.0.96 and 2.1.3 are not being replaced on IBM Fix Central.  The next available releases will be Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel 2.0.97 and 2.1.4.
