  • 1.  Optim Insert Error - Insert Authorization Error

    Hi All,

    I'm implementing the data masking solution for a DB on Oracle 12.2 Exacc connected using Oracle 11.2 client. Extracts and Converts are running fine. However, all the inserts are failing with an error

    Insert Authorization Error

    I tried to directly insert data on SQL Developer and it is working fine. So, it is not looking like an authorization error. I also tried to run Optim Load but it is also failing with below error:

    ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

    Please help!

    ​Hi Rohit,

    Are you using the same userID to run the Optim insert request and SQL Developer?

    It seems the userID to run the Optim Insert Request doesn't have access to insert the data into specified table.  
    Can you quickly check with DBA's to make sure if the Optim userid got the required access?
