Also on the topic of FP06, we have had bitter experience of applying it at multiple customer site, issues faced were following,
1. Lua Scripts didn't work at all, there is a PMR raised for it
2. ODM connectivity on AIX, didn't work, there is an iFix for it
3. Upgrading from old Optim 9.1 or before to Optim 11.3 and FP06, didn't recognize the archive files, so we had to register the old archive files in FP05 and then upgrade to FP06.

Subject: Optim Distributed Designer vs. Classic
Hello Ed,
There are many customers who are using Designer. If you are into LUA scripts a lot then Designer is a way to go as it will help you to compile the scripts.
But if you have automated the processing using command line scripts then Classic Optim.
Thanks,
Vishwas

Subject: Optim Distributed Designer vs. Classic
Is anyone using Designer as their primary GUI for Optim Distributed?
We still use Classic in most cases. The only time we used Designer was for a LUA CMP to mask Brazil NIDs (they have two separate ones).
Both GUIs work, just want to know if Designer is being used. We are upgrading to FP6a so all the clients need to be upgraded. It would be a time to switch.
