  • 1.  Optim Convert errors using Optim Classic

    Posted 01/04/19 02:16 PM

    Group,

Has anyone experienced Optim Convert errors after the latest Optim release (Version: 11.3.0.6 Fix Pack a, Build 5316, 64-bit)?

We are receiving the following errors on tables with approximately 12+ million records:

    1. Process Status  1 error, no warnings; The Server process for the Convert Request has abnormally terminated  OR
    2. STOP=Fatal ERRORLEVEL=12

It appears that all rows in the table for the column have been converted correctly but when the process finishes it is throwing one of the errors listed above.

Any information, guidance, or direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jeff,

I am owning an internal defect associated to the PMR raised by one of your team member. I am looking at different pointers to help me in reproducing the problem as I have exhausted all my options.
Definitely this nothing to do with the number of records but for some reason JSON metadata buffer failing to convert XML buffer in the JNI/JVM layer and this happens only after conversion is successful. Therefore there is no problem with the converted data.

Can you please confirm whether extract without any convert is success or not as it also follows the same layer to create XML metadata. If it works then please try to convert any sample/test table.

    Thanks,
