    Hi, 
    I have a few question regarding the IBM operators for CP4I:

    • It states in the documentation that the "Operand Deployment Lifecycle Manager Operator" is installed in the ibm-common-services namespace. The documentation also states the for instance the IBM App Connect Operator is managed by the Operator Lifecycle Manager(OLM). 
      Does this apply that the IBM CP4I operators are partly managed by the OpenShift "Operator Lifecycle Manager" and partly by "Operand Deployment Lifecycle Manager Operator"?
    • If so, why?
    • I so, are there any plans to use OpenShift OLM in the future

    Hi Ron,

    I received an answer from the tech team -- currently both are used in CP4I.

    The ODLM is for common and foundational CP4I services and allows them to be used on demand. Only the services that are being used are deployed in this case, so this is currently as designed. 

    As for future plans for operators. we can't comment on future releases in public forums.
