    Hi, I would like to explore and do the POC to incorporate the Kafka interaction within CICS application programming.

    As per the documentation, IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Apache Kafka offers z/OS applications straightforward connectivity to any Kafka cluster which is part of event driven architecture. 

    Also, it says "The current version of Open Enterprise SDK for Apache Kafka is supported within batch application environments and within IMS application environments. The current version is not supported within CICS application environments."

    When can we expect SDK version available for CICS application.?

    Hi Kiran, thanks for looking into IBM open enterprise SDK for Apache Kafka.  Currently, the SDK supports IMS and batch applications, but CICS is not yet supported. In the meantime you can look into other approaches to achieve this, as detailed in the CICS and Kafka integration blog.
