    On the IBM i, the scan is run with the error:

    (2020-11-09 15:01) Running Package Scan...

    (2020-11-09 15:01) Creating HW Scan package...

    (2020-11-09 15:01) Moving Hardware Scan Results

    mv: 001-2118 Error found renaming object /cit/output/hw_scan_all/tlm_hw_* to /cit/output/tmp_hw_all//tlm_hw_*. No such path or directory.

    (2020-11-09 15:01) ERROR: Moving Hardware Scan Results ended with error code: 1

    (2020-11-09 15:01) END: run_sw_and_pack_console

    If I reinstall the scanner on the IBM i again, the scan works. But the next time I run it is fails with the above error. I then have to reinstall for the scan to work again. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    My normal solution would be: "The problem is that tlm_hw_* scan output files have not been produced at all (the reason of 'Moving Hardware Scan Results' step failure). Please make sure to setup the hardware scan scheduler to be run every 30 minutes...run 'schedule_scans.sh' script" But really I see a case that the above did not work. My recommended solution would be upgrade the scanner, and make sure the scanner is scheduled. https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8JFY_9.2.0/com.ibm.lmt.doc/Inventory/planinconf/c_disc_updating_scanner.html And then run 'schedule_scans.sh' script. If that does not work open a case, because we will have to collect logs.
