  • 1.  ODBC connection to Google Sheets

    We are migrating from Excel to Google Sheets.
    Does anyone know how to make the connection from the ODBC conneciton on the PC to Google Sheets.
    We have many data exports that we currently do to excel and this would be mission critical to continue after we migrate.

    Please check the instruction here : Setting Up Google Sheets ODBC Connection: 2 Easy Steps   This is for an non-IBM i ODBC but it appears that setting up a DSN is a normal process done from Windows.

    Hi Marlene, 

    It looks like CDATA offers an ODBC driver for the desktop.

    You could also easily create something in Python that can be called to export/update data in a spreadsheet on Google Sheet that runs natively. 

    Here's a sample video I found.
