    Hello,

    In MAS 9, it appears that IBM does not give any choice of keeping the object structure security off/on. It is always on. This requires all the object structures, automation scripts to be secured. 

    We have approximately ~100 object structures that we use for our integrations and custom web applications. In the development environment we will associate the security on those object structure to the security group and we will test to make sure that all the object structures are correctly secured. 

    Is there any automated way of transferring this object structure security from one environment to another (e.g. migration manager)? Does IBM provide any API by which we can migrate this security information to another environment? Does this information get stored in some set of tables? 

    This will help when we will turn over to the production environment.

    You can use Migration Manager to migrate your security groups or extract the authorizations from the APPLICATIONAUTH table, where the app is your object structure.

    Hi Pankaj,

    I am sure as part of the path forward, we need to enable the security to make MAS Manage compliant, but did you tried turning off the security for the object structures as an update query (system property). As there are lot of work and efforts needs to be put in and considering in your case its 100+ OS. Making changes to Integrations and Custom web applications will be time consuming and if there are timeline issues, we can turn Off the security and to make it work, we need to update the property and restart Maximo. Let me know if that works for you.
