    We monitor our AIX systems' files integrity with Tripwire. The files: TMInput and CDiagAtt and CDiagAtt.vc change almost every day. These files are binary files so we can not see what is changing.

    Does anyone knows what could be causing the changes?

    The files are Diagnostic Configuration files, so they should be pretty static.

    The Diagnostic Controller creates a CDiagAtt entry for each device that is tested periodically by the Diagnostic daemon.

     

    It is probably updated every time diagnostics are done by the daemon.
