    eg - My nfs server is dirt0021 and client is dirt0023

    Why not just try it? It should be a simple test. And if it doesn't work, you can always just symlink it.

    Yes I am trying it and here it's not working in my environment may be beacuse of many complexities here like Krb security.. etc.
    Unfortunatly we can't just create a link as application is going to sync it with original in evry 2 hrs.

    Thats true it will be same data.Applicaiton will atempt to sysnc it and as it's same it will not change anything thats what they (applicaiton guys) want.
