We are trying to install a 3rd party software and it requires our AIX 5.3 servers to be in TL12, while these servers are anywhere fro TL8 to TL11.

I checked the AIX support lifecycle information page and it says "End of Service"  for TL12. Does that mean I am S-O-L ? Or is there a way to get this patch set from somewhere ? We do not have current software support with IBM but it is being considered and this might push the bean counters closer to saying "yes"

    Any advice is greatly appreciated

To download, go to IBM Fix Central. BUT: First you have to have an IBM ID to login to that site in the first place. And to download any AIX updates, you have to have either a serial number or a maintenance contract number linked against that IBM ID. Otherwise you won't get access to the S/W.
