  • 1.  New Data Source Connection Load Options Not Loading

    I am trying to set up a new data server connection from Microsoft SQL Server. I was able to successfully sign on, but when I go to set up the Schema, the load options pane will not load. It is simply a blank screen. 

    Is there anyway to get around this issue or is there is a way to check if the information is still trying to load?

    This is on version 11.0.13.

    Good Afternoon Elizabeth,

    I hope that you and yours are doing well.  I recommend that you use Cognos Analytics Configuration to connect to your Cognos Configuration Management database {a separate database in SQL} and Cognos Framework Manager (FM) Configuration to connect to your SQL Server {data source database}.  If you don't know how, open a case with support:

    You would publish your data model from FM, the data model appears auto-magically within the Admin Console {Configuration>Content..}, and then you will import it {New Import icon} for use in Cognos Analytics.
