Hello Srini,
To hide the Edit, Save, and Share icons buttons you need to use the administrative customization features within the Cognos Analytics interface, specifically targeting user roles. This is the recommended method for hiding elements for specific users or roles.
Hiding Options via Role Customization
- Log on to IBM Cognos Analytics as an administrator.
- Navigate to Manage > People > Accounts.
- Click on the Cognos namespace.
- Locate the specific role for which you want to hide the buttons. Click the More options menu (three dots) next to that role, and then select Properties.
- Go to the Customization tab.
- Click the chevron or Edit button next to Features. The Features panel/dialog box will appear.
- In the features list, you can browse and uncheck specific items to hide them.
- Click Apply to save your changes.
Users belonging to that specific role will no longer see the disabled icons/buttons in their viewer interface.

Thanks,
Abbas
