  • 1.  Native vs. Hybrid Apps questions

    This question comes from the August 15 webcast, Building Funcitonal Hybrid Apps for the iPhone and Android:








    Are hybrid apps executed via the device's   embedded browser?

    Or are they downloaded to the device and executed like a   native app (even though they use web technologies like CSS & JS)?

    Hybrid applications are installed natively but inside a 'WebView' container (think Mobile Browser without the navigation controls or the URL field).
