  • 1.  Multiselect problem with value prompt

    Hello,
    In my report whenever I am using Multiselect with Value prompt its not working.
    But in previous reports its working.
    what may be the reason.

    Hi,

    Is the prompt being used to resolve a parameter in a filter expression? If so, does the filter permit multiple values - eg using an 'in' operator rather than an '=' operator?

    Hi Priyanka,

    If you are using a prompt page, you need to make sure to have the following option:
    (Note: Required is... not required, but Multi-select is required)

    and [Sales (query)].[Products].[Product line] in ?Product line? in the filter (in for multi-select or = for a single value).

    If you are using a package, you can use the Build prompt page option:
