  • 1.  Multiple DB2 HADR on same server

    Hi All,

    We have one instance with 2 databases install on single server.

    Now our plan is to create 2 hadr environment. We have 2 servers.

    2 HADR database on 1st server (primary) and corresponding standby's databases on 2nd server.

    Need recommendation, should we go with single instance or 2 instances (separate instance for each HADR database).

    HADR is a relation between databases - so unless you have way too big server - I would recommend single instance with 2 databases.
