    Can anyone tell me if they've been able to access IBM i DB2 via NetCore for .Net5-7?would appreciate a breakdown about what's required, or if it's even possible. Thanks

    All I know is if you can do ODBC from that environment, you can do it.

    We were looking at ODBC. Do you have any pointers for connecting and processing me? It's a 9009-41A w/V7R3M0.

    You can see www.aumerial.com there is a new product called Link2i that works on all .Net environments (framework 4.8, core 3.1, .Net 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) with ALL .Net technologies (from desktop to containers).
Link2i allows access and use of ALL IBM i resources (data, programs, S36, CLP, printers, stored procedures, source codes...).

    .Net 5-7 and beyond work just fine with the IBM i Access ODBC drivers. 
    

    Just install:
    -IBM i ODBC Driver on Windows, Linux or Mac
    -Visual Studio or VS Code if that's your IDE of choice and start developing. 
    

    I'm making an assumption your team already has some VB or C# experience. 
    

    If not you will need to find some .Net education courses.
