Sometimes when I run the ANOVA command I get the following Note/Error: "unique sums of squares is now the default method in ANOVA"

Example Syntax:

ANOVA VARIABLES= varlist BY var (0,8).

Question 1: What does this mean? If there is documentation of Errors and Notes which includes this somewhere?

Question 2: If I get this note, should I be concerned that I have made some type of mistake? (If not obvious from the answer to Question 1 above.

Nothing to worry about. I think the default behavior was changed at some point, so that is just a compatibility alert.
