    What is the procedure to rollback Maximo 7612, TPAE 7612 to Maximo 7611, TPAE 7611 OR Maximo 7610, TPAE 7610

    Not an easy one to answer unless we know where you are in the lifecycle of the upgrade?

    Which Environment? DEV/UAT/PROD.
    The first 2 pretty simple
    Restore the db back up taken prior to upgrading the db, rebuild EAR(unless you have a copy/Edition) and re-deploy the EAR.

    PROD would need some serious thought and I'm not sure it would actually be possible, with out loss of trans data. But i doubt you are that far done the upgrade path and at one of the above?

    What you do have though are all the relevant artifacts in PROD, which hasn't been upgraded.

    So for me you would need to use the db from prod to refresh UAT, then work out the folder structure replace, i guess also using PROD as the base.

    Agreed with Lee. Your best option is to refresh the database(s) from an environment that hasn't been upgraded and then create new SMP folders. There is no downgrade option and trying to undo everything that occurs in an upgrade (screen changes, messages, system properties, maxvars, attributes/objects/relationships/indexes changes, etc.) would be extremely time consuming and error prone, even if it was just the changes between 7.6.1.1 & 7.6.1.2.

    Hi Samvid,

    i would say the way back is pretty easy:
    - Restore your database to a point in time where a previous version was installed
    - Restore your SMP-Directory to the same point
    - Rebuild and Redeploy your EAR-File

    I am pretty aware that this may not be the best way especially if the restore point is more than a few days old. But i am not aware of any other way back.

    I would propose to wait for ICD 7.6.1.3 which should/will come with TPAE 7.6.1.2 and will probably be released in December.
