I wondered if anyone has any knowledge of using the Software Contracts types in Maximo? I have also noticed a database object CONTRACTSFW and wondered what the purpose of this is?

There is brief mention on the IBM wiki page but I've never seen them used in practice:

    Software contract
An agreement in which you can specify the items or services provided, costs, shipping and handling, expected delivery times, financial terms, and vendor information for the software licenses that you have purchased.

I remember using long back with Contol Desk/TAMIT solution. I think it makes sense if you want to manage the software licenses in Maximo ICD .

    Hi Tom,

I've given an answer to this question already, see that post.  However, in regards to the CONTRACTSFW object, yes that is software contracts which is part of ICD as Amit indicated.  I have run the training courses for ICD.  If you already have a Maximo, it can be installed on top.
