    Hi All,

    Using MAF, I have created a customized mobile application (MYTECHMOB - a cloned version of OOB Technician app). I've successfully modified the screen and tested it in RBA MAS8 Desktop.

    Now, I'd like to understand the process for submitting MYTECHMOB to the App Store so it can be installed on my iPad. Any ideas or documentation?

    Hi Dianne,

    You do not need a separate application in the app store for you cloned version. The same Maximo Mobile application that can be downloaded from the app store should be capable of including your version of the Technician app. It is all about the permissions of the user once he/she logs in, the Maximo Mobile application will pull from the Maximo server the latest version of the mobile apps the user has access to.

    The one additional step is when you're happy and have published the app to Maximo is you need to enable the is mobile flag on the app in the configuration utility. Even though you duplicated a mobile app, we disable the flag so that it isn't available on mobile until you're ready.
