We are using Maximo TND Utility Industry Solutions. Our CU designs contain over 5,000 CUs across more than 500 stations, and these designs are sent to us from AUD. The CUE payload size is approximately 4 MB. Due to repeated middleware crashes, our current implementation is configured as Pass-through.
When large CU designs cause an integration processing error during the creation of the CU Request and its associated version, we observe that, even after the retry count is exhausted, estimate versions continue to be created in CUE within Maximo. No new inbound messages are being received from AUD, yet new versions keep getting added. This behavior persists even after server restarts.
The version creation only stops when the JMS store for the CQIN queue is deleted. However, the issue reoccurs as soon as another large CU Design message arrives from AUD and fails during processing.
If anyone is aware of this as a known issue or has encountered similar behavior, please feel free to share any references, forum threads, technotes, or experiences that might help.
