Anyone using the Maximo Developer Eclipse plug-in to extend MBOs?

The support for this I think discontinued after the release of IBM Maximo Version 7. Now with Ver 7.5 and now at 7612 we are able to have multiple instances of the SMP folder under a single Maximo installation folder. For example, I have 3 SMP folders under D:\IBM such as SMP7509 (Version 7.5 Patch 9 DB: MSSQL 2012), SMP7611 (Version 76 Patch 1.1 DB: Oracle 11 MAXIMO Schema) and SMP7612 (Version 76 Patch 1.2 DB: Oracle 11 MAXPROD Schema).

I am using Eclipse Mars IDE for projects related to the above Maximo instances. Configuring the Maximo Developer plug-in allows just D:\IBM as root folder



This does not help in configuring the plugin for each project to connect to each of the separate SMP folders. For ease of use, I was forced to place each SMP folder under C:\IBM, D:\IBM and E:\IBM with SMP as root folder. This helped in connecting to the dedicated database instance under maximo.properties. 
Has anyone tried to enhance the plugin to allow it to connect to renamed SMP folders under the same installation folder? How was your experience using the plugin and is it still being used for development purpose?
