We are currently looking at implementing Maximo in our environment, and need a few more details re: the DB2 license. I am told by our implementers that Maximo includes a license for DB2,but can find no details on this or the licensing constraints for the instance of DB2. Is it included in the Maximo cost, and is it a limited use scenario where the DB2 can only be used for Maximo, otherwise will incur additional cost? Which "edition" of DB2 is included (if at all).
