Dear All,

Could you pls let me know if you have attempted calendar/Shift Integration with Maximo ? Primarily we need this for scheduling and to know resource calendar availability in Maximo.

Kindly shed some light on this.

Hi,

There are 2 places where you would need to set up integration.  First there is the Calendar / Shift application.  The Calendar is working days and the Shift is working times.  You associate a Calendar/Shift with a Labor record.  If a Labor has a new shift they work and you are managing this in an HR application, you would need integration to update this on the Labor record in Maximo.  The next area you may want to update in Maximo with integration is the MODAVAIL table.  This table holds all the one off modified availability for Labor records.  For example, I may be taking vacation next Friday and I want Maximo to know this so that 8 hours aren't available to assign me work.  All of this information can easily be managed directly in Maximo or updated through integration with another system.
