Hi Pat,
The Anywhere WorkExecution Application is primarly used to work on existing Work Orders and to report back used time, material and tools. If you directly create a WorkOrder using the "New Workorder" or "Followup Workorder" functions you cannot plan any time, material or tools, because these are more seen like ad-hoc Workorders to directly start working on them and report back time, material and tools.
The complete planing process of the WorkOrders has to be done using the Maximo Web Interface. The idea behind that is, that this task is centrally done by a scheduler or a shift lead. The planing persons a mostly working in a office, since the technicians repairing the assets are working outside.
Hope this will help.
