Hi,

Is it possible to use iOS keychain to sign into Maximo Anywhere apps?

If yes, is there any guidance on how to do it?

We haven't tried iOS keychain specifically, but using a password manager (1Password) doesn't work with the Anywhere apps (even on 7.6.4). It's unclear why, but it always gives a username/password error and works if we manually copy in the password from 1Password. IBM was able to replicate, but wasn't considered a defect so it has to go through the RFE process. Based on the design of password managers, I imagine the changes required are minimal so I have it on my wish list to try and investigate how to make it work but haven't had time to investigate because none of our customers reported it. If it works for you please let me know.

Thanks. I haven't tried 1Password but you're right. It would be nice to be able to have that support...

I tried and think Maximo Anywhere apps can work with username/password stored on iOS Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & App Passwords .

What I did was, firstly store the username and password at Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & App Passwords; then open Work Execution app, at the login page click at username field, the keyboard shows up with "<key icon> Passwords" at the top of it, click on it, AutoFill Password dialog appears, choose the username stored, returning back to the WE login page, click at either username or password field, the username and password are auto filled, logging with that is successfully without any problem.

Not sure if this is what you are after?
