    Hi Team,

    I have a requirement in which i have text field and a lookup associated with it.
    there is a validation on text field that will throw error if entered text in text field not find in associated lookup.

    i am able to validate and throw error but after throwing the error , i am unable to reset the field to blank.

    any suggestion would be helpful.

    This is the standard behaviour because if you've got it wrong it gives you a change to correct it.  For example you type ABD which is not allowed, however, ABC is correct.  Instead of retyping the whole lot, you remove the wrong and move forward.
