Hello Team, 

Recently we have installed IBM Maximo Anywhere 764 version with IFIX4.  The Build command is successful and files are uploaded into our Maximo. -Anywhere Administration application.

but when we tried to login into App (IBM Maximo Technician), we are getting the error " The user name and password combination that you entered is not valid"

But here are my observations. 

1) with the same user and password, I am able to login into  web Maximo application and the user is part of the security group "ANYWHERE_TECHNICIAN"

2) It's form authentication that's configured in worklight.properties which is correct.

Please let me know if I need to verify anything elsewhere.

Did you manage to figure this out?  We just started having the same issue today, but we have not made any changes recently to cause it that we know of.

But we are using Apple Device and App's are download from Apple App store. 

The Issue is now resolved and its identified as Product bug By IBM.

We had raised IBM PMR and received an fix file which resolved our issue. Its product bug.

Problem:

In a Maximo Anywhere environment having WebSphere application server, form LDAP authentication an error message is displayed when trying to connect: The user name and password combination that you entered is not valid.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Open the Anywhere Technician application ? The user name and password combination that you entered is not valid

RESULT:

The user cannot connect

EXPECTED RESULT:

The user should be able to connect
