We have recently installed Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1 with WebSphere 9.0 and need to configure the Help for Local Use because of our DoD and DoE customers need for security.  They do not allow URL's to open to the "outside", therefore the Help must reside directly on the server as it did in Maximo 7.5.  Are there any instructions out there that will prove to be 100% in us accomplishing our task?  We have found a link that talks about downloading a package from Fix Central (7.6.1.0-TIV-MAMKCEN-FP0001.zip), but we are still unable to get any application help to come up in the browser.  Thanks ahead of time for any help (pun intended)!

Did you install the package after downloading it? I would expect there to be a step in the installer or manual steps for deploying the EAR. And if the installer didn't do it, I would expect there to be a manual step for updating mxe.help.host and possibly some other mxe.help.* properties.

Maximo Asset Management Feature Pack 7.6.0.5 changed the way Maximo help works. Instead of building and deploying the MAXIMOIEHS ear file to the MAXIMOIEHS Enterprise application, Maximo now points help to ibm.com.

We have finally gotten LOCAL Help to work by moving some things around and placing folders into the correct locations. One of the things that took a while to figure out was the TOC in the far-left vertical column. The ability to navigate between modules and applications was missing.  The folder called <KC_ditamaps> appears to be what is used to provide the TOC for navigation and this folder is not mentioned in Richard Lesses article.   Also, we noticed that the <buildmxiehsear.cmd> still exists, but is not used to build a help EAR and access application help. Is there a time when the command gets used?  Otherwise it appears that the <startKC.bat> replaces the <buildmxiehsear.cmd>?  This is a new way of doing things so forgive me if it looks like we are still trying to figure it out; because we are.
