Hi Witold,
Thanks for you inputs. Yes, we are using private image mirror for RHOCP cluster setup as well. And, current plan is to go with only MAS applications (Manage, Health, Predict, MVI, etc.). There has been a changes on image registry, as we are planning to use ACR (Azure Container Registry) for image mirroring and create an endpoint to connect/access ACR for images.
Thanks, Prashant

Subject: MAS installation using airgap/disconnected mode
Hi Prashant,
the overall approach seems good. Bear in mind that You also need to deploy OpenShift using private image mirror. If You are deploying on-prem I recommend to use Agent Based Installer, which is design specifically for that use case.
Another thing is keeping the image registry up to date and clean. If You only use that for MAS it should not be an issue, but if You also have other images in that registry i would recommend to not use MAS CLI for image mirroring as it only manages MAS images.

Subject: MAS installation using airgap/disconnected mode
Hi Maximo Folks!
I am exploring on setting up MAS using airgap/disconnected mode. Following is the flow I am exploring.
- Registry 01 server which has access to internet and intranet. Pull images and store in Registry01.
- Registry 02 server which has access to only intranet. Pull images from Registry01 and store in Registry02.
- MAS setup using images stored in Registry02.
Currently I am referring to few helpful links from IBM on disconnected setup, which listed below. Appreciate any other pointers/guidance/support and more detailed steps will help.

configure-airgap - Maximo Application Suite CLI

| | configure-airgap - Maximo Application Suite CLI | | Important The configure-airgap command does not work on IBMCloud ROKS clusters. This is a limitation of the service provided in IBMCloud which disables key parts of OpenShift functionality required to configure and use ImageContentSourcePolicy resources (which is the basis of airgap/image mirroring support in OpenShift). | | View this on Ibm-mas > |

| | Image Mirroring - Maximo Application Suite CLI | | We recommend the use of two-phase mirroring in most cases, it is slower than direct mirroring and requires more storage capacity, but can allow you to more easily recover from network glitches and creates a clean seperation of the tasks of getting the content from the source registry and putting it into the target registry which can make debugging failures easier. | |
