  • 1.  MAS 8.4 and Customizations (or Configuration)

    Hi All,
    For anyone who has tried MAS 8.x SaaS model - (not a private clouds option). What type of customizations are still allowed in a MAS instance? (Manage - Work Management App - aka Maximo). Can you create a custom tables, automation scripts (Object, Integration, Action, etc) in the SaaS model of MAS 8.4?

    I'm not sure that Manage is currently available in any SaaS environment at the moment given that 8.4 was just released yesterday. That being said, all front end configuration (Application Designer, Database Configuration, Automation Scripts, System Properties etc.) all SaaS providers should support it as almost nothing is changing there. I would say nothing is changing, but they did eliminate some UI system properties as part of the update to enforce a consistent look and feel.

    When it gets into EAR customizations (custom java classes, different web.xml settings, etc.) things may be different per provider.
