Can we run some LPARs on an iSCSI LUN or an NFS volume?

The reason I ask this is that I've just inherited a pair of IBM p9110-51A machines. I'd like to reinstall one of them with three LPARs and I was curious to know if I could use an iSCSI LUN or an NFS volume to house those three LPAR?

I was thinking to mirror the two local disks and install the VIO LPAR on them. Then, if possible, create three new LPAR on the iSCSI or NFS volumes.

    Has anyone tried this?

    Thanks,

    David

P.S. We don't have iSCSI HBAs nor TOE cards, but then again we don't need much performance either.
