I am trying to use the Parent Location field under the More Search Fields menu of Locations to view all locations under that parent, regardless of their level, but Maximo only shows the immediate child and not any locations under them.

Is it how the core is designed to work? Are there any config settings that can be turned on to bring all levels, or does this need to be raised as an idea or a product case to enable that feature in a future release? Open for suggestions and inputs if anyone has faced this before and has a workaround to overcome this. 

Note - I am well aware of how the drilldown function works under Locations. I am more interested in knowing how the search option can be leveraged to show all the levels in the list view.

Please disregard this post, as it is a minor configuration change that I have resolved.
