  • 1.  Live Archival - dynamic file naming

    Posted 02/07/20 03:23 PM
    Hello,

I have recently started learning Optim Archival and have a question. I want Archive file (name) to have the time stamp added(to its name) whenever it is run. I tried looking online but could not find anything that helps.

Lets say, I am trying to run the Archive request which generates the Archive file (Archive File name: TESTDATA.AF). Since this is live archival, the process will again run next month and when it runs it will replace the previously generated file TESTDATA.AF. I would like have timestamp as suffix i.e. TESTDATA 07_02_2020.so this way when the process runs again, it will not replace the previously generated file and also clean to look at if I wanted to see specific dates.

Is this possible? if so, kindly provide your inputs.

    thank you

Optim provides macros to dynamically create unique file names.

    Refer following link,
