Hello! I'm running DS 4.1.3, and all 8 APAR fixes, I believe. I've had this problem for quite some time and haven't been able to find an answer:

Specifically on Linux - real or VM, Ubuntu or Debian, I can install and update DS just fine. However, when I run DS it appears to be half in 'dark mode' where some of the panels are dark gray and some are white. When I try to configure a connection for the first time, I can see the boxes but not their labels - this is semi obvious how to get around that, but less so when you can see checkboxes or radio buttons and neither has text next to it. I tried going through the Preferences to see if there was maybe some theme to change and see if that helped, but this window is affected by this as well I can't tell what I'm looking at in almost every panel / tab / tree. Has anyone else seen this? Google searches were not much help. I'd love to have this working,, going to Windows just for this tool is cumbersome!

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated! I'm new to the forum, if I can I will post screenshots to make this make sense.

Oh, if it helps I was trying on Ubuntu 20.04, but had the same issue on 19.04 and I believe I was using Debian 9 the last time I tried. I don't see a way to add an image.. that's frustrating.

Alright, seems like I resolved it for the most part on accident. I guess the default theme just was broken or half working, etc. I went to Window -> Preferences -> General -> Appearance. I changed it from GTK to Dark and now I can see everything. Some things still appear a little wonky, but not invisible and unusable, just a little ugly. Dark is the only one that seems to correct the issue. Not sure why the default fails but it seems consistent from what I've seen.
