How do i get the sum of multiple columns, and update a seperate custom column on the workorder table?  This custom table is linked back to the original work order. What's the best way to do this? escalations? Thanks.

It depends on what your technical resources are. If you know automation scripts, that is likely the easiest way to calculate from multiple fields. As long as you created the custom attribute (sort of like field) in Maximo via Database Configuration, you can add the attribute via Application Designer to your work order screen.
